Below are some of the most notable construction projects in which the company has participated, providing high-quality solutions and products.

Mohammed VI Tower – Rabat (Morocco)

The Mohammed VI Tower in Rabat is the tallest building in Morocco, standing at 250 meters, and represents a milestone in the country’s architecture. This imposing project was developed with rigorous quality standards, where Molins Construction Solutions played an essential role in supplying construction solutions. 

One of the standout products used was VAT® FLEXIBLE, applied over a surface area of 10,000 m² to ensure optimal adhesion of the ceramic and marble tiles that cover the interior areas of the tower, including its luxurious ballroom. 

The ceramics used, from Céramique Slim PORCELANOSA, along with elegant 90×90 cm marbles, added a touch of distinction to this project. The coordinated construction process with Societé Generales de Projets and the developers BESIX – TGCC was key to the success of this project, reflecting Molins Construction Solutions’ ability to meet the most complex technical challenges.

Repair and Waterproofing of the San Juan Reservoir Dam, Madrid

The San Juan Reservoir, located in the Community of Madrid, is a key infrastructure for water supply and energy generation in the region. However, its lateral dam presented water leakage issues, requiring urgent intervention. From Molins Construction Solutions, we supplied various materials and construction solutions for the rehabilitation and waterproofing of 5,000 m² of the affected surface. 

The solution was executed in two phases: first, the joints and spalling were repaired using the structural mortar PROPAM® REPAR 40, while the treatment of cracks and specific points was done with PROPAM® FIBER GLASS fiberglass mesh embedded in two layers of PROPAM® IMPE FLEXITEC. 

In the second phase, a complete waterproofing was applied using two layers of the flexible mortar PROPAM® IMPE FLEXITEC, ensuring resistance to structural movements caused by the reservoir’s filling and emptying cycles. This intervention effectively resolved the leak issues and ensured the stability of the dam.

Quartz Multilayer in School Kitchen – Aula Europea

In 2024, Molins Construction Solutions was part of the rehabilitation of 200 m² of the dining and kitchen areas of Aula Europea, an educational institution in Barcelona. The company Revestecnic was responsible for applying resin flooring for this project, addressing specific challenges due to the nature of the substrates. 

In the kitchen, the old resin flooring was treated through diamond grinding and sanding, followed by the application of a leveling layer with resin and quartz sprinkling. In the dining area, a similar process was followed, adapting the solutions to each surface. 

To ensure long-lasting durability and resistance to aggressive cleaning products, our primer PROPAM® FLOOR 120 was used along with the final sealing of the color quartz multilayer system. Thanks to these products, the rehabilitated areas achieved not only an optimal aesthetic finish but also maximum functionality and durability.

Rehabilitation of the Dukes of Alba Concrete – Port of Málaga

The Port of Málaga has undergone significant transformation in recent years, including the rehabilitation of the Dukes of Alba, essential structures for the mooring and lateral support of ships. These concrete structures had suffered considerable deterioration, with severely rusted internal reinforcement. 

The intervention included the complete removal of the rusted reinforcement, cleaning of the concrete, and repair of the damaged sections with our mortar PROPAM® REPAIR TECHNO. This fiber-reinforced, highly adhesive mortar meets the highest standards for structural rehabilitation. 

With this intervention, the stability and safety of the port structures were ensured, contributing to maintaining its status as one of Spain’s leading cruise passenger ports.
