The suppliers and contractors that are part of our supply chain are key to business continuity, both in terms of maintaining competitiveness and ensuring sustainable growth.
That is why it is our priority to establish long-term relationships with them, always respecting the principles of ethics and integrity, transparency, equal opportunities and free competition. For this reason, we have a Supplier Code of Ethics as a reference framework that we share with all of them and to which we request adherence to ensure compliance.
Aligned with our strategic axes, we integrate sustainability criteria in our management with our suppliers:
– We prioritize local or proximity suppliers
– We work with them in the fight against climate change by measuring scope 3 emissions.
– We ensure due diligence in the respect of human and labor rights by evaluating our critical suppliers.
We also encourage collaborative innovation through partnerships with suppliers and continue to advance in digitization, whether through digital transformation projects, facilitating the digital training of our suppliers, as well as the digitization of our own procurement management processes.

Cross-cutting agreements
We join forces with our suppliers to comply with ESG criteria in the supply chain and, thus, avoid and mitigate negative impacts on people, the environment and the economy.
Purchasing manual
In 2023, we have prepared the Purchasing Manual, which constitutes the reference framework document to ensure compliance with the principles detailed in the purchasing policy in all supplier purchasing processes.
Conscious consumption
We are committed to energy self-consumption and the negotiation of renewable electricity contracts at fixed prices (PPAs) for electricity. On the other hand, in the case of fuels, we continue to expand the supply of alternative fuels.
