Floor levelling finishes

From Molins Construction Solutions, in collaboration with Institut Provençana, we have created a short video tutorial on rehabilitation, highlighting especially the improvement of the different leveling points of a surface. 🏡

Know what are the steps to follow:

  1. Thorough cleaning of the terrazzo flooring, removing dust and adhered particles, even recommending the use of a cement descaler.
  2. Application of PROPAM® PRIMER GRIP+, a universal bonding bridge, an adhesion promoter to surfaces such as old ceramics or terrazzo.
  3. Application of the self-leveling mortar. In this case it is a leveling mortar 10 of the range PROPAM® TEC because the thickness needed in all the surface is between 8-9-10 millimeters. It is a product of very easy application, it only requires 6 liters of water per bag, a pasting of 3 or 4 minutes, to let it rest and then to repaste with an electric mixer. It can also be applied by pumping. It is a product that admits different types of solutions.
  4. The finishing phase consists of three zones. A first phase in which a light flooring, a parquet, is applied. The central area of the room has a linoleum flooring, in this case adhered to the substrate, to the self-leveling mortar 10. And a third phase with ceramic, a porcelain stoneware. And for this application we have chosen an improved tile adhesive cement, a C2TES1 of the ECOGEL range, which is specifically a PAM ECOGEL FLEX that gives us excellent adhesion for this type of support.
