Visit of our Segment Manager, Fernando Martinez, to Cersaie 2024

This year, Fernando Martinez, Segment Manager at Molins Construction Solutions, attended the event. During his visit, he observed how companies are adapting their products to a market that values both ceramic aesthetics and adherence to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. He also identified the main ceramic trends for 2025.
Ceramic Installation Trends for 2025
The year 2025 promises to bring exciting innovations in ceramic installation. Here are the key trends expected to shape the market in the coming year:
Large formats continue to rise

Large-format tiles, already a leading trend, will remain one of the most sought-after options for 2025. These tiles create spacious environments with a continuous appearance by minimizing grout lines, achieving a clean and modern visual effect.
This trend also demands higher standards for installation, as it is essential to use an adhesive that ensures strong and secure bonding. Specifically, compliance with the 138002:2023 standard, which outlines quality requirements and best practices for tile installation, is crucial.
Products like the Pam® Ecogel range are indispensable in this context. Its thixotropic formula enables precise application even on large and heavy surfaces, ensuring the safe installation of these impressive large-format tiles.
Textured tiles

Textured tiles have emerged as one of the most innovative trends for 2025, offering a sensory experience that is both visual and tactile.
At the fair, tiles with embossed textures were showcased, adding sophistication and realism to surfaces. For these textured designs, grout color is a decisive factor.
We recommend Borada® Chroma, which, with its extensive palette of 30 colors, allows for the perfect tone selection to complement or contrast the tiles, enhancing the details and volumes of each piece.
Pastel and neutral colors

The color palette also plays a vital role in 2025 ceramics. Neutral tones such as beige, gray, and earthy shades took center stage. Pastel hues also gained attention, allowing for harmonious spaces adaptable to diverse decorative styles.
Patterned tiles

Patterned tiles are gaining popularity for their ability to add personality and dynamism to any space.
In 2025, expect to see greater diversity in patterned designs, featuring soft and vibrant tones, offering an ideal choice for those seeking to express a unique style without compromising elegance.
Keep in mind that installing patterned tiles requires precision and care, as any error can affect the final design.
