The efficiency of industrialization: a time saving of 7 months in a residential complex

Industrialized construction is establishing itself as an effective solution to reduce costs and accelerate execution times in architectural projects. A notable example is the Yugo Salamanca Luna residential complex, whose construction was completed in just 19 months, cutting nearly a third of the projected time thanks to the optimization of industrial processes.

At Molins, we industrialized the entire construction project, including the structure, façade, basement walls, and parking area. Additionally, we incorporated industrialized communication cores and staircases, as well as partition walls between residences. This comprehensive solution was key to reducing on-site execution times.

The Yugo Salamanca Luna residence has been a collaborative project in which we worked closely with architect Ana Lozano, Project Manager Arcadis, construction company ACR, and MOBENIA, commissioned by STRACTO REAL STATE.

With a surface area of approximately 27,000 square meters, the residence is a benchmark in its category. The complex houses 912 rooms and over 900 industrialized bathrooms, distributed across three buildings that integrate spacious common areas, both indoor and outdoor.

Beyond its functionality, Yugo Salamanca Luna stands out for its commitment to sustainability and well-being. It has obtained the prestigious BREEAM Excellent certification, recognizing its high sustainability performance, and the Fitwel certification, ensuring the highest standards in health and quality of life for residents and workers.
