Isostatic and hyperstatic bridges

Our precast concrete bridges can resolve all kinds of civil work needs as a result of their versatility, durability and rapid assembly. Our isostatic bridges boast multiple configurations to enable us to provide the ideal solution. We can therefore offer a wide range of structures with double-T beams so as to provide solutions for structures with all kinds of geometric and durability and load-related conditioning factors, with beam edges ranging from 60 cm to 265 cm and lengths that can exceed 50 m.

When the engineering or design solutions so require, we manufacture precast concrete with trough beams. The trough beam bridges are laid with a slab cantilevered on the site to ensure that the beam doesn’t lie at the very edge of the deck.

In cases in which a compression slab and a deck made up of a single beam are required, we provide our customers with single beam structures to minimise the on-site operations to be carried out, ensuring great simplicity when reinforcing the slab to create structures with high aesthetic value.

Our hyperstatic structures with precast concrete can reduce the required beam edge with respect to our isostatic ones, lead to more appropriate dynamic behaviour and reduce the number of necessary supports and visible joints and the possibility of any deterioration of the outer beam areas.

The isostatic decks entail spans that are 15% to 20% shorter for each kind of beam while reducing the number of on-site operations to be carried out, allow the horizontal loads to be distributed uniformly by reducing the largest joint displacements and usually lead to significant savings in terms of the precast costs.
