PRORESIST
This type of concrete contains cement with a high proportion of calcium aluminate (between 40 and 42%). CAC cement (calcium aluminate cement) presents a series of characteristics that give the concrete a great capacity to withstand extreme conditions of abrasion, resistance to high temperatures and chemical attacks, among others.
The texture of PRORESIST is similar to that of conventional concrete although it is more sensitive to curing on site due to its high hardening speed.
We recommend good continuous surface curing.

Field of application
- Refractory concrete and exposed to high temperatures.
- Rapid emergency repairs.
- Marine works, sanitation networks, sewage systems, etc.
- Pavements with high traffic interference: airport runways, roads, hangars, sheds, etc.
- Pavements exposed to chemical attacks: gas stations, oil companies, slurry, brewing industry, wine, paint, paper, etc.
- Tanks and reservoirs for potable water, non-potable water, wastewater, corrosive liquids, etc.
- Reservoirs and leachate retention basins in the waste sector.
- All those applications where the product can substitute coatings, thus saving periodic maintenance times, production stops, supply cuts, etc.
Advantages
RAPID STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT
- In 24h, strengths equivalent to those achieved at 28 days by concrete with Portland cement are reached.
- Put into service 6-8 hours after application of the product.
RESISTANCE TO HIGH TEMPERATURES
- Resists temperatures of up to 1,200ºC, depending on the nature of the aggregate used.
RESISTANCE TO CHEMICAL ATTACKS
- Resistant to different chemical compounds especially chlorides, sulphated waters, gypsum soils, magnesium salts and diluted acids.
RESISTANT TO CHEMICAL AND BACTERIOLOGICAL CORROSION
- Suitable for XA1 and XA2 environments.
- Resistant to corrosion caused by materials with pH>3.5
HIGH ABRASION RESISTANCE
- High capacity against wear in wearing courses and in areas where there is continuous or discontinuous flow of very abrasive materials. XM1, XM2 and XM3.
RESISTANT TO EXPOSURE IN MARINE ENVIRONMENTS
- Suitable for XS3 environment.
Application system
- Always by Molins specialized teams.
- The application is similar to that of conventional concrete. It requires special care in curing during the first 24h.
- The application can be carried out by bucket, with direct pouring, according to the client’s requirements and access to the pouring points.
- Other supply formats according to client needs: bag, big-bag and bulk silo.
