Heavyweight concrete
Manufactured with aggregates with a density higher than 3,000 Kg/cm2, it is designed so that its specific weight exceeds 2,800 Kg/m3. The high density of this class of concrete provides high weight with little volume and protects against radiation.
Used in structures that require the main characteristic of this concrete, more weight in the same volume: structural counterweights and in areas that need protection against radiation.

Field of application
- Construction of radiation shields in hospitals, etc.
- Shielding in banks.
- Counterweights or anchorages.
- Structures where weight is a determining element.
Advantages
- Its density provides high weight in little volume for counterweight constructions, protections in banks or nuclear power plants.
- High protection against radiation.
System of application
- Pumped in difficult-to-access areas.
- Application process similar to that of conventional concrete.
- Requires vibration, treatment and curing system the same as conventional concrete.
