Fresh concrete
A mix of aggregates, cement, water, and admixtures, dosed and mixed in a concrete production plant. Its quality gives it the resistance characteristics that meet specific legal requirements.
Depending on its application on site, it can be used as mass concrete, reinforced concrete, and pre-stressed and posttensioned concrete.

Field of application
- Mass concrete: walls, pavements in light traffic areas. Construction of dice-shaped breakwaters for ports, counterweights in cranes, or for filling concrete.
- Reinforced concrete: structures for buildings, bridges, or other works. Used in foundations, floor slabs, columns, walls, screens, piles, etc.
- Pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete: in elements that are manufactured on the site itself and subsequently installed at their point of use: beams, bridge decks, walls, etc.
Advantages
Fresh concrete is a moldable material, allowing it to adapt to any geometric shape.
- Mass concrete: fast and simple application system with a small team of people. Product homogeneity and ease of transport to the point of use
- Reinforced concrete: its specific formulation, and placement on site together with the reinforcement, provides the necessary compression and tension strength to transfer its characteristics to the structures
- Pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete: allows for customized profiles on the site itself. It provides the same load demands with a smaller beam section, gaining free space. It is the cleanest and fastest system for constructing a structure.
Application system
- Mass concrete: is concrete that is placed in formwork without reinforcement and has compression strength.
- Reinforced concrete: requires internal reinforcement to offer tension strength.
- Pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete: is used to form a prefabricated element, applying tension to the reinforcement, either before or after pouring the concrete into the mold.
In all cases, the concrete can be poured directly by bucket or pump.
