UTE Potasas

The site consists of industrial buildings for the collection and dispatch of salts extracted in mines.

In addition to the complexity of being a structure very close to the sea and the type of material stockpiled with a high chloride content, the work is also very complex.

For the structure: concrete has been supplied with the corresponding environments plus conventional reinforcement (increasing the screed in the reinforcement).

For indoor and outdoor paving, the use of concrete with structural polymeric fibres has been chosen (thus avoiding the possible impact of chlorides on the reinforcement corrugation).

In total, some 29,000m3 will be supplied, with completion scheduled for March/April 2020.
