For an agri-food company in the fishing sector, flooring was installed for a 170m2 freezing chamber and 2 freezing tunnels of 194m2. PROXTREM concrete was chosen, with a special formulation for these extreme conditions to withstand freeze-thaw cycles and very low temperatures (-20º, – 45º), without cracking and providing the necessary resistance.
All pavements, with a thickness of 15-20cm, were pumped over 90m in length with pipes and with the use of structural polymeric fibres.
The work was carried out in La Roca del Vallés (Barcelona) from the Molins plant, located in La Garriga.
