The specific product developed by Molins for these applications, PROXTREM, was used to pave the 6 freezing chambers for the meat and food industry.
The 6 chambers, each about 68m2 in size, are at an average of -80°C, so the flooring must withstand very cold temperatures, as well as continuous freeze-thaw cycles.
This is why Promsa’s PROXTREM concrete is ideal for this application, with a special formulation for these extreme conditions without cracking and providing the necessary strength to withstand freeze-thaw cycles. In addition, as it is located in an area that is difficult to access, it was pumped through pipes, as Proxtrem can also be pumped.
