Fourth section of the Eix Diagonal

Supply of 27,000 m3 of material for two years on the fourth section of the Eix Diagonal, which connects Vilafranca del Penedès with Igualada.

Special requirement: Initial strength of ~ (10 MPa at 12h for stripping when laying viaduct piers) and 20 Mpa at 24 h.

Complexity: Concrete strength in piles and slabs FcK 30 Mpa.

To meet these two requirements, we use our specially formulated HRR concrete. In addition, we implemented our sensors, which allowed us to measure the strength and maturity of the concrete in real time and to optimise the construction schedule.
