AVE Madrid-BCN

This section of work on the Madrid-Barcelona AVE high-speed train as it passes through Sant Boi de Llobregat consisted of the creation of a viaduct.

This viaduct with self-supporting formwork was built with high-strength concrete, HA-50, in a liquid consistency.

Pile 6 was built with self-compacting concrete due to its complexity and reinforcement density. During the entire construction work, an exhaustive quality control was carried out at short ages by Promsa’s own quality team.
