We participated in the 11th Strategic Immersion of the MAV Cluster to discuss the challenges facing advanced materials
The event brought together companies, technology centres and innovation stakeholders to reflect on the future of advanced materials and their role in the transition towards a more sustainable and efficient industry.
We participated in the 11th Strategic Immersion organised by the MAV Cluster (Advanced Materials of Catalonia). The event provides a forum for companies, technology centres and innovation stakeholders to exchange ideas and knowledge. Its aim is to address the main challenges and opportunities facing the advanced materials sector.
As part of the programme, Jordi Altet, Director of Quality and R&D&I, took part in the round table Companies Leading the Transformation of Advanced Materials. During the session, he shared insights and experiences with representatives from other leading organisations in the sector.
Innovation for a more sustainable industry
The discussion focused on key topics such as innovation, the industrialisation of new solutions, sustainability, the circular economy and the digitalisation of production processes. In addition, participants highlighted the need to accelerate the transfer of innovation to the market.
One of the main challenges identified was the development of materials that deliver higher performance while using fewer resources. Furthermore, the discussion emphasised the importance of reducing emissions associated with industrial processes. These priorities are essential for building a more competitive and sustainable industry.
Promoting collaboration to accelerate innovation
The event also highlighted the importance of collaboration between companies, technology centres and universities. Such cooperation plays a key role in accelerating innovation, encouraging knowledge transfer and supporting the market adoption of new solutions.
Our participation in this event enabled us to exchange knowledge and gain insight into the trends shaping the future of the sector. Moreover, it reinforced our commitment to innovation as a driver of increasingly sustainable, efficient and industry-focused solutions.
