HAL
HAL is the self-compacting and lightweight concrete that can be pumped.
Its composition has special additives so this concrete can be pumped correctly.
In addition, it is self-compacting and has insulating properties by using light aggregates, making HAL the perfect product for rehabilitation projects and new builds alike.

Field of application
- Restoration of one-way joist type slabs.
- Slabs with a collaborating sheet metal.
- Screeds in structures that require little weight, without losing strength.
- Refurbishment of old buildings and new builds.
- Lightweight and insulating flat roofs.
- Structures that need to be pumped due to their size or location.
- Structures with acoustic and thermal insulation needs.
Benefits
- Resistance and lightness. The combination of HAL with electrowelded mesh makes it a strong and lightweight concrete.
- Product traceability. As it is manufactured in a concrete manufacturing plant, it is a homogeneous material, its characteristics are consistent and controlled.
- Application. Its pumpability and self-compacting capability mean it can be applied efficiently: fast, clean and safe.
- Reliability. The product formulation and meticulous application offer peace of mind.
Application system
- Always applied by specialised Molins teams.
- Although it can be pumped, HAL can also be applied by pouring skip or direct pouring, depending on the project’s requirements and the access to the pouring points.
- Preparing the surface and placing levels.
- De-aeration process after application.
Characteristics
- SELF-COMPACTING: It flows to fill the desired surface under its own weight. No vibration required.
- PUMPABLE: Able to be pumped. Greater performance and faster application.
- LIGHTWEIGHT: Lower density than conventional concretes. Reduces the loads on the structure.
- THERMAL AND ACOUSTIC INSULATION: Contains light aggregates that provide the insulating capacity.
