Draining concrete
A new Molins formulation, with special fibers and admixtures, allows for an optimal draining concrete porosity suitable for water management.
Its granular skeleton, with a network of tiny channels, gives it a great capacity for water evacuation and prevents the generation of puddles, highlighting its efficiency in the sustainable management of the water cycle.
It is manufactured with recycled aggregates of concrete origin, which maintain the same permeability as natural aggregates, being more environmentally friendly.

Field of application
- Draining bases and subbases.
- Sports courts: tennis, paddle tennis, etc.
- Roofs / Roof decks.
- Pavements for pedestrians and paths.
- Green areas, landscaped areas, and playgrounds.
- Drainage in tunnels.
Advantages
- Resilient pavements: they allow for greater permeability and the reduction of the “heat island” effect thanks to the drainage that provides proper channeling of rainwater.
- Safety: safer pavements free of puddles.
- Density: lower density than conventional concrete.
- Dosage / mix Design: two formulations depending on the project needs, for pedestrian traffic or light vehicle traffic.
- Versatility: allows for a wide variety of colors.
- Recycled aggregates: the aggregates used come from the valorization of 100%concrete waste. When the use of recycled aggregates is not possible, noble (natural) aggregates will be used.
Application system
- It can be supplied: in bulk in its fresh state via ready-mix truck and dumper, or in bulk dry in big bags or on-site silo (for large areas).
- Once spread, the product requires the same curing as conventional concrete intended for pavements.
- The site placement will always be carried out by specialized Molins teams, following the procedure established in the application sheet.
- Not recommended for frequent vehicular traffic.
