Concrete for deep foundations
The particular nature of the on-site placement of these elements requires a suitable concrete to favor and optimize its pouring, with ideal consistency and cohesiveness characteristics that guarantee the continuity of the element to transfer the loads foreseen in the project.

Field of application
Deep foundations type CPI / (Piling): the most common are CPI-4 direct pouring, large volume, and CPI-8 pouring with pump and “barrina” (auger).
Application system
- Diaphragm Walls: Minimum fluid consistency is required, although liquid consistency is recommended, and, in some applications, selfcompacting.
- Piling: CPI-4 (direct pouring). Same performance as for diaphragm walls.
- CPI-8 (PUMP + auger). Requires liquid consistencies, maximum aggregate size of 10mm, and minimum cement content of 350Kg/m³.
- Possibility of requiring stabilization at 3 hours depending on the project’s needs.
- Continuity of supply.
- In the Technical Building Code (CTE), cement contents exceeding 385 kg/m³ are often required.
