Sprayed Concrete
Developed for the firm support of a surface, without the need for formwork. This concrete is applied using machinery that is sprayed at high speed onto a surface, normally irregular, through a hose or nozzle. To increase its properties and strength, fibres can be applied to it. It contains structural fibres, in accordance with annex 7 of the CodE “Recommendations for the use of fibre-reinforced concrete”.

Field of application
- Slope stabilisation.
- Reservoir walls and swimming pool walls.
- Tunnel and car park cladding.
Advantages
- Adapts to uneven ground.
- Economical, no need for formwork.
- Quick to apply.
- Can be coloured for better adaptation to the environment.
- High compressive strength.
- Less deformation as it has fibres.
- Less creep, low deformability.
- Highly resistant to corrosion and abrasion.
- Better behaviour against fire.
Application system
- It is delivered to the point of execution by truck mixer.
- For its application, a spraying machine is required, which is placed in front of the surface to be supported. By means of compressed air, the machine places the concrete on the surface.
