We recognize excellence in Health & Safety at the third edition of Plant of Excellence

For the third consecutive year, we have held the Plant of Excellence 2025 awards ceremony for Concrete & Aggregates and Circular Economy, an event where we recognize the commitment of our teams to health and safety in their workplaces.

After three editions, the Plant of Excellence initiative has become firmly established as a model that promotes continuous improvement and recognizes those sites that integrate safety as a core value in the way they work.

An evaluation model focused on continuous improvement

The Plant of Excellence designation is based on objective criteria that assess each plant’s performance throughout the year in four key areas:

  • Implementation of improvement actions
  • Compliance with preventive planning
  • Individual and team proactivity
  • Commitment to health and safety

This evaluation system enables us to measure team progress and strengthen a solid safety culture based on shared responsibility and continuous improvement.

Cultural evolution in Health & Safety: our pillars

During the ceremony, special emphasis was placed on the pillars guiding our cultural evolution in Health & Safety (H&S), which must be part of the daily routine at all plants:

Leadership
Leaders who set the example and always put safety first.

Commitment
Complying, improving and anticipating — with no excuses and no exceptions.

Zero Tolerance
Never looking the other way in the face of unsafe conditions or behaviors. Acting, correcting and protecting one another.

Communication
Speaking up, informing, sharing and correcting with respect. A safety culture is built through dialogue and active listening.

These pillars consolidate a way of working in which safety is not only a priority, but a collective responsibility.

Plants of Excellence 2025

In the category of sites with more than 10 employees, the nominees were Llinars, Pronatur and Queixans. The Plant of Excellence 2025 award went to Pronatur, which stood out for its outstanding compliance and proactive approach to continuous improvement, achieving this recognition for the second consecutive year.

In the category of sites with fewer than 10 employees, the nominees were Soses, Spotify and Pallejà Concrete. The award went to Soses for its ability to implement improvement actions in response to any incident and for its excellent preventive and corrective performance throughout the year.

Excellence as a collective commitment

The celebration of this third edition reaffirms Molins’ commitment to building increasingly safe and healthy working environments.

We congratulate the recognized plants and thank all our teams for their dedication and commitment to health and safety. Because excellence is not a one-time achievement, but a way of working based on continuous improvement, leadership and care for people.
