COAC visits our facilities to learn about our sustainability and innovation solutions

On June 27, we welcomed the Catalonia Association of Architects (COAC) to our Sant Vicenç dels Horts facilities, specifically the central counties delegation, based in Vic.

The visit, organised at the request of COAC itself, stemmed from the group’s interest in learning first-hand how we approach key areas such as sustainability, circular economy, and innovation applied to the construction sector.

Tour of our facilities

The day began with a visit to the cement plant, where we explained in detail the cement production process, along with the initiatives we are implementing in the use of alternative materials and lower-impact solutions.

The visit then continued to the Alternative Raw Materials (MPA) plant, where attendees learned more about our waste recovery initiatives and how they contribute to emission reduction and the improvement of the environmental performance of our processes.

Upcoming session in September

The interest shown during the visit has led to a new invitation from COAC to host a follow-up session at their headquarters in September. This will be another opportunity to share our special products and solutions, and to bring our work on decarbonisation and environmental improvement closer to more professionals in the sector.
